Farafina
More than just another percussion ensemble, Farafina is a musician's school. Percussion and the balafon (a percussion instrument struck with two padded sticks) interlock with intricate workouts and rough-edged explosions of furious drumming while voice and flute thread more delicately through the rhythms. Experienced international players who have worked with Daniel Lanois, Billy Cobham, Jon Hassell, Ryuichi Sakamoto and The Rolling Stones.
