"After the music for 'The Last Temptation of Christ' was completed and released under the name 'Passion', we put out an accompanying record called 'Passion Sources'. This was an opportunity to present some of the music that had influenced the writing, and show some of the work of the musicians involved.
"We had wonderful feedback from that album, which encouraged me to release this record to accompany the 'Us' record. I have an extraordinary band who provides the foundation of my records, and at the same time I am very lucky to be able to work with musicians from all over the world. They make an enormous contribution to the sound of my work and this is an opportunity to hear some of the other music that these remarkable musicians have created."
