Echoes - the daily two-hour music soundscape heard on America's Public Radio network is hosted by the legendary John Dilaberto. Today Echoes presents its International Women's Day selection which will include a seminal recording of the Real World artist Sheila Chandra. In 1993 John travelled to Shelia's home in Glastonbury in the West of England and recorded her singing tracks from her extraordinary album 'Weaving My Ancestor's Voices'. You can hear that intimate performance again on Echoes today - as Dilaberto says: "Just imagine me sitting four foot in front of that magic".
