Latest news » AFRO CELTS’ ‘SEED’ - GREAT RECEPTION TO THE NEW ALBUM IN AMERICA

‘Seed’ the fourth album by Real World flagship recording artists the Afro
Celts, was released this week in America, with press and radio both taking
notice.

The album’s first single “Rise Above It” was #1 most added at AAA radio this
week (according to three industry tracking publications: R&R, The Network,
FMQB), with influential stations such as KCRW in Los Angeles, WXPN in
Philadelphia, and WRLT in Nashville among those who are spinning the song.

Meanwhile, NY Newsday recently called ‘Seed’ “a swirl of sounds - from Irish
pipes, to the African kora harp-lute to flamenco to the Indian dohl drum.”
And this week’s CMJ calls ‘Seed’ “an example of what can happen when
cultural borders are crossed, and borders erased. ‘Seed’ supports the
universal truism that there’s more to be gained by unity than division.”
