9bach's third album Anian is featured as part of the Real World Vinyl Club for November. Each month we choose a different album from the catalogue, making it available to subscribers of our mailing list with an exclusive 33% discount. We thought we'd get in touch with 9Bach to find out about some of their favourite albums in their vinyl collection.
Mart: “There so many dynamics on this album which make it sound particularly amazing on vinyl; lots of space and then a blast of percussion and drums and Curtis’s guitar which is underrated but fantastic on this album. His voice also sublime.”
Mart: “The range and depth of sounds on this album, the big fat dubby bass and the use of technology just make it sound great. It’s a standout album of its time. It’s great that it’s a double vinyl album. The artwork also makes it a vinyl must.”
Lisa: “We have this single that’s been played to a millimetre of its life. That moment when you hear a song on a TV program soundtrack, then source it out desperately for weeks, then the physical record arrives in the post and you have it between your fingers and you just stare at it for hours in delight… then play it for the rest of the month.”
Anian by 9Bach is the featured album for November in our Real World vinyl club. Subscribe to our mailing list by midnight on 14 November to get an exclusive offer code which gives you 33% discount on the LP.
