French production duo Badd Lime have shared their second single 'Discover the World', which features Senegalese brothers Djibril & Etienne Sacko a.k.a. REENFLY. Taken from the forthcoming EP Nouveau Né, it follows their recent drill-inspired collaboration with Malian rap star Ami Yèrèwolo.
REENFLY began their musical journey in Keur Massar, a suburb of Senegalese capital Dakar, which has a burgeoning hip hop scene. At the centre of this, Rukku Records — a newly established recording studio in the neighbourhood — has become a creative hub for a new generation of artists to which REENFLY belong.
‘Discover the World’ expresses a genuine awe and wonder at life — the beauty in both the good and the bad, an eagerness to live life to its fullest, and to see the greatness in humanity as a whole.
‘Discover the World (feat. REENFLY)’ and ‘Niafiyé (feat. Ami Yèrèwolo)’ are out now on all platforms. Badd Lime release their debut EP Nouveau Né on Real World X on 4th February 2022.
