Love (feat. Mamani Keïta)

Les Amazones d’Afrique

Taken from the album Amazones Power, out 24 January 2020.

The inspirational ‘Love’ calls out FGM as a barbaric practice. Vocalist Mamani Keïta leads a strong and sweet chorus, over electronic basslines. As she points out, this ritual should not be regarded as a celebration; the fight against this practice is serious, and must commence with education from childhood. Females deserve respect and equality.
